LAUREN HiLL SPEAKS ON "THE MISEDUCATION OF"

Lauryn Hill speaks on making her classic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill – which she will of course be performing in it’s entirety on the Rock The Bells tour as it makes its way from coast to coast. Which makes this Reebok Classics-branded vid sort of a sequel to the clip we posted the other day of her RTB-stagemate Nas speaking on Illmatic. Forget all your crazy-talk, Ms. Hill has a commanding presence that is distinctly Oprah-like on here–and sometimes sounds more like a media studies professor dissecting herself in the third person than a rapper.  Rumors of her "miseducation" may have been highly exaggerated.
